More and more people feel their health is at risk, as they put themselves in situations where there are crowds, such as on buses and skytrains. As news of the coronavirus continues to spread and the situation worsens, these people will eventually be forced to make a decision: Their jobs or their lives.

If even one employee has the coronavirus and doesn’t show any symptoms, the chances of that employee infecting the entire office is extremely high. It’s a time bomb waiting to happen.
Many companies are also forcing their employees to stay at home, without work. Some businesses such as restaurants might not have another choice. As a result, their employees do not earn any wages, because they cannot work. They’re stuck with a difficult choice between going to work and risk becoming infected, or staying at home and running out of money. In most places in the United States, they have no choice at all – they simply have to stay at home because all the restaurants are closed.
So CEOs of companies who do not support their employees working remotely have a tough decision to make. Do they allow their employees to work remotely, or keep them in the office? Implementing the remote work systems and processes is extremely challenging in a state of emergency if you didn’t have them set up already.

They’re worried about what’s going to happen to them, their families, and their children.
