This was not my usual afternoon, to sit by the fire and read aloud my latest book to a man who had entered my home at gunpoint.
He’d respectfully removed his shoes at my front door, yet rudely demanded that I hand over the valuables from my safe. Was I going to do such a thing, even with a gun to my head?
No. I handled the situation the way I should, as a social media celebrity who is accustomed to having fans and haters… and as a global educator who understands that people like him come from broken homes and just need some pointers on how to be successful in life.
